Matt & Jen's Story
Matt suffered from several mental health issues while still working as an officer. Matt didn’t know how to handle this and kept it to himself for years though it was affecting his everyday life. Matt then started going to therapy for help, but never connected with any therapists because they didn’t have an idea of what living a law enforcement life was like. That was until he met Jennifer. Matt was diagnosed with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and panic disorder when he met Jen. Jennifer bonded with Matt because of her own front line background as well as her family’s. After several months of therapy, Matt now lives a “normal” life, with minimal issues. Jennifer was able to show him the way to recovery and to cope with his mental health instead of denying and avoiding it.

After Matt had recovered so efficiently, he and Jennifer talked about serving others with similar backgrounds as Matt and Jennifer’s husband. Matt and Jennifer are passionate about serving front line workers and from there, Matt and Jennifer started Front Line Therapy of Texas LLC. Their objective is to serve front line workers and the public, to recover from their mental health journeys. Matt and Jennifer know what it is like to recover from debilitating mental health, and know that it is possible for you as well. Everyone has a story, and Matt and Jennifer want to assist you with recovery so you can have a happy ending to your story as well.
